As Category & Insight Executive you will be joining a highly successful independent business in Banbury. Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team of five. The role is full time and permanent, offering a salary of up to £30,000 DOE.

Purpose of the Role: Delivering product range advice to customers and suppliers. You will carry out range reviews and recommend new and delist lines, providing educational material to support the key category and market insight. The role is both proactive and reactive with a level of analysis and customer service.

Key Responsibilities for the Category & Insight Executive:

  • Delivery first class projects for product ranges for customers and suppliers
  • Acting on requests and proactively identifying opportunities
  • Support the development of core ranges to the business for all channels
  • Building and maintaining solid working relationships with key customers
  • Leading conversations to understand the business needs providing bespoke advice
  • Liaising closely with supplier and developing close relationships
  • Collating detailed feedback on projects and case studies
  • Developing expert category knowledge
  • Creating insightful material featuring key products

Keys Skills Required for the Category & Insight Executive:

  • Solid analytical skills, able to collate information quickly and report
  • Strong excel skills, able to manipulate large quantities of data
  • Ability to pick out key elements from complex datasets of product and reveal key points
  • Confident communicator at all levels
  • Excellent rapport building skills and ability to create strong working relationships
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to present at client and supplier meetings
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self sufficient administration skills including PowerPoint
  • Adaptable, able to work under pressure on multiple projects with differing deadlines
