Customer Service Executive:

Location: Littlehampton

Salary: Competitive Salary £20,000 - £24,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

Contract type: Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday, working shifts 08:00 - 16:30, 09:00 - 17:30.

The customer service executive is the key point of contact for new clients; providing quotes with the aim of maximising sales profit, and to respond to new business enquiries.

Customer Service Executive Main Duties & Accountabilities for the Customer Service Executive:

The specific accountabilities of this flexible role may alter from time to time in order to meet the needs of the company, but accountabilities may include:

  • Responding to incoming website, email and phone enquiries
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
  • Recording sales and order information on our computer system
  • Organising sales visits, surveys and meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers, by gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
  • Reviewing own performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • Attending team meeting and reporting on progress

Level of Knowledge & Experience for the Customer Service Executive:

Relevant customer service experience gained in any commercial area.

A knowledge of vacant / void property security would be an advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent confidence, communication skills
  • Patience, perseverance and resilience
  • Able to analyse situations and make decisions accordingly
  • Good organisational and time management skills, plus attention to detail
  • Good IT and numerical skills
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our range of products and services
